1. MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

1.1. Membership is at the sole discretion of Queer Conscious Connections and we reserve the right to revoke your membership at any time.

1.2. You represent and confirm that you:

1.2.1. Are single (alternatively, are separated from your spouse or actively practicing ethical non-monogamy, in which case you agree to disclose this information);

1.2.2. Have provided details that are true, accurate and complete;

1.2.3. Are looking for a committed relationship;

1.2.4. Do not have any criminal convictions that you have not disclosed to Queer Conscious Connections

2. RULES OF MEMBERSHIP

2.1. You agree during and following termination of this Agreement you will not:

2.1.1. Do anything that deliberately or recklessly prejudices Queer Conscious Connection’s reputation or the reputation of any other Member;

2.1.2. Make disparaging statements (either verbally or in writing) about Queer Conscious Connections or any member to any third party;

2.1.3. Disclose confidential information to any third party (and you will take the utmost care to keep confidential information secure and protected and to ensure that you do not inadvertently disclose confidential information);

2.1.4. Cause a nuisance, inconvenience or anxiety to any other member or employee of Queer Conscious Connections, or contact them following a request not to do so;

2.1.5. Act in an abusive, threatening, harassing, obscene, libelous, offensive, sexist, racist or discriminatory manner towards any Queer Conscious Connections employee or other members;

2.1.6. Do anything which in Queer Conscious Connections reasonable opinion restricts or inhibits anyone else’s use and enjoyment of Queer Conscious Connections services;

2.1.7. Impersonate another person;

2.1.8. Will never use Queer Conscious Connections services for any commercial purpose (including promoting or appearing to promote products or services to another member);

2.1.9. Supply us with any photograph or other material the copyright in which is owned by a third party unless you have their written permission for such photograph or other material to be used for this purpose.

2.1.10. You will not “stalk” or otherwise harass any person.

2.1.11. You will not express or imply that any statements you make are endorsed by Queer Conscious Connections without our specific prior written consent.

2.1.12. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members of Queer Conscious Connections. Queer Conscious Connections may or may not, at its sole discretion, inquire into the backgrounds of its members or attempt to verify the statements of its members. Queer Conscious Connections makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of members or their compatibility with any current or future members. Queer Conscious Connections reserves the right to conduct any criminal background check or other screenings (such as sex offender register searches), at any time and using available public records. In no event shall Queer Conscious Connections be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to the conduct of you or anyone else in connection with the use of the service, including without limitation, bodily injury, emotional distress, and/or any other damages resulting from communications or meetings with other members and/or clients or persons you meet through Queer Conscious Connections. You agree to take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other members and/or clients of Queer Conscious Connections or their affiliated partners, particularly if you decide to meet in person. You understand that Queer Conscious Connections makes no guarantees, either express or implied, regarding your ultimate compatibility with individuals you meet through Queer Conscious Connections. You should never provide your financial information (for example, your credit card or bank account information) to other members and/or clients.

3. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

3.1. Queer Conscious Connections can terminate the Agreement at any time immediately without notice to you if:

3.1.2. Any of the confirmations in section 2.1 (or any other information you provided to Queer Conscious Connections) are materially inaccurate or misleading;

3.1.3 You breach any obligation in section 2.1;

3.1.4. In each case of termination, such remedies are without prejudice to any other remedy Queer Conscious Connections may have pursuant to this Agreement or otherwise.

4. THE SERVICES

4.1. Queer Conscious Connections will search for suitable prospects amongst our proactive, fee-paying clientele and may use the provided information to present to potential matches.

4.2. You can terminate your Membership at any time for any reason by giving written notice to Queer Conscious Connections.

5. LIMIT ON CONSCIOUS CONNECTIONS’ RESPONSIBILITY

5.1. Queer Conscious Connections relies on the honesty of its members and clientele in the collection of details. However, Queer Conscious Connections reserves the right to perform background checks at Queer Conscious Connections’ sole discretion.

5.2. You acknowledge that Queer Conscious Connections cannot control the response others may have to your provided information, or the feedback that Queer Conscious Connections may receive from another person following an introduction.

5.3. Queer Conscious Connections cannot be responsible for your interaction with other clients or for the conduct or actions of any client or member. Queer Conscious Connections does not carry out police or background checks of its members unless specifically requested and makes no warranty or representation about the marital status or mental state of any member or of the accuracy of the personal information provided by its members.
